From February 27-28, 2025, the Spanish partner KOAN hosted the 3rd Transnational Partnership Meeting.

This key event brings together partners from Italy, North Macedonia, and Spain to discuss new strategies for improving accessibility in natural environments.

A unique setting: Sierra de Guadarrama

While Madrid is famous for its rich cultural heritage, this meeting highlights a lesser-known treasure: the Sierra de Guadarrama, a stunning natural park just an hour away from the city. This location embodies the project’s mission—ensuring that natural areas are accessible and inclusive for all.

What is the Agenda about?

  • Strategic Meetings on training events, communication, and project management
  • Study Visit in Navacerrada to explore accessibility initiatives
  • Collaboration with ADESGAM, the Sierra de Guadarrama Development Association
  • Cultural & Gastronomic Experiences, showcasing Spain’s rich traditions

This is the  formal agenda over the two days.

Why does this meeting matter?

Nature should be a space for everyone. Through collaboration, innovation, and action, the DIANA Project is committed to making outdoor spaces more inclusive and sustainable. This meeting will be a crucial step in turning ideas into impactful solutions.
