On Tuesday, 21st May 2024 D.A.F.N.E Soc. Coop., the lead partner of the project, has organised an online meeting with the other partners to discuss the development of the first project’s Intellectual Output.

As planned, partners will work on the production of a Compendium of best practices in Accessibility and Inclusive Tourism in protected nature areas. This activity aims to collect in a unique document the most relevant good practices and examples where accessible and inclusive solutions have been applied in nature areas in various countries around the world.

This Compendium will be available on our project’s page as a free and open source document.

From May to August, partners will analyse common critical topics and the correct solutions which will represent the basis from which develop the second output of the project and to start making nature-based tourism more inclusive for all. This activity will involve stakeholders coming from Italy, Macedonia and Spain as main actors with whom start building a new solid network for improving accessibility and inclusion in nature areas.

During the online meeting, the partnership discussed and approved the following aspects:

  • Approval of the Communication and Dissemination Plan
  • Presentation of the Official Project Website and Facebook page
  • IO1 – Compendium of best practices in Accessibility and Inclusive Tourism in protected areas: partners approved the criteria to identify the correct best practices and a set of questions that will be submitted to stakeholders.

As already defined, partners will meet in Skopje for the second transnational project meeting at the end of June.
